Back from Europe
Sorry for not checking in for a while, but I've being out in Europe training and competing in the X-Trial championships for the last four weeks. It's been great, it was Me, Dibbs (James Dabill) and Danny Butler who is an absolute superstar on the push iron! We located ourselves close to the Spanish Beta factory and have being training with the Spanish riders, both night and day (quite honestly).
The main thing I have learnt is that time on the bike is everything, whether its out cycling or just playing around on the back wheel in the yard - when your on the bike your using the correct muscles and it all seems to work. We usually practiced on the motorbikes during the day and went out on the push bikes in the evening - Tarty bikes have sorted me out with a well nice trials push-bike. I'll get the camera out and wack them up here soon!
We were in Barcelona due to the tough terrain and the climate is more suitable when training for the Indoor Championships. Over the last four weeks I have ridden very well, placing 5th in Barcelona and 6th in Geneva - just to be able to say that is incredible. I just need to maintain this form in the final two rounds of the championships!
Anywho, I have a week in the UK now, before a Indoor Trial in Germany, it's not part of the world championship 'X-Trial' but Raga and Dabill are also riding so it will be good to compete with them too again. Peace out!
